About the Images

While exploring with different art mediums, Trahern began to cut out shapes using all widths of plywoods and masonite boards,then painted the rough surfaces and attaching them inside a frame
to create three dimensional relief art. For him, it was an excellent exercise of literally separating shapes and creating space between the objects that worked to support the overall image of the entire piece. He now applies this discipline to his two dimensional paintings and illustrations when creating compositions.
