A mom and her kids found me and asked me if I was Blue Sky. "Nope, but he's awesome." This is a phenomenal feet of construction. Back in a time when that was just the way it was. 12 x 30", acrylic on gessoed panel Trahern Cook, copyright 2018

A clear March Sunday afternoon on Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina. I painted as curious tourist crossed the streets headed for the pier hoping to catch the sunset. The buildings reflected brilliant colors not to be ignored. Soon, it would get chilly so as the light dropped out of sight, so did I. A chilly day in February in the middle of downtown Roanoke in the market. I met some kind folks and bought a drawing from the "Music Man". The "Music Man" played some tunes on his boom box as I finished up. Then I made it to Fork in the Market to warm up. Drank the local brew that a new friend bought me and split a pizza with another Roanoker whom I'd met at the square wile he was on his skateboard. It took me the rest of the day to thaw out.
